Harmonikids has brought the joy of music to hundreds of children around the world. With harmonicas in hand and a few simple songs, children from California to Canada to Australia to Indonesia are united in the fact that they know the same songs and can play the same instrument. The harmonica has truly become a unifying instrument - thanks to Harmonikids.
In May 2010, Gary took Harmonikids on a music therapy mission to aid children in Port Au Prince, Haiti who survived the earthquake, as well as some shockingly trapped in "Restavek" (Creole for child slavery).
WHYY-TV 12's Delaware Tonight featured Harmonkids during a visit to A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware.
Harmonikids traveled to Indonesia to bring the joy of music to children affected by the tsunami.
